My keychain has evolved a lot over the years, but currently I suspect it reflects what’s important to me, as opposed to its many utilitarian incarnations of the past. Two keys relate to my bicycle, a recent acquisition and recent hobby, and both the decorative keychain and the keys that I never use but can’t be bothered to take off the ring relate to my family, who live far away. I hadn’t really thought about this before, but it could lead to some interesting self-reflection.
